A woman who handled a stolen bank draft for £48,500 has been remanded on continuing bail for sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Linda O'Donovan (34), of Dolphin House, Rialto, pleaded guilty to committing the crime at National Irish Bank, Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin, on January 22nd, 1997. The draft was made out in the name of another person. O'Donovan is also before the court on another fraud charge of attempting to obtain £4,950 by false pretences at Bank of Ireland, College Green, Dublin, on September 11th, 1996. Judge Cyril Kelly remanded her for sentence on April 24th.
