Ms Mary Elder (88) died in the Meath Hospital after being taken there following what gardai describe as an "incident" on the Adelaide Road on December 28th. She had been living in a nursing home in the area. A man was arrested by gardai last Saturday and released after questioning.

A Garda spokesman said last night that witnesses were still being sought.
