Wales continued their revival with a 23-10 victory over Scotland in the Six Nations in Cardiff today, the first time in seven years they have opened the championship with a win.
Wales, who finished bottom of the table after five defeats last year, picked up where they left off at the World Cup by running the ball wide at every opportunity and were rewarded with three tries, two scored by winger Rhys Williams.
Prop Adam Jones trundled over for the other Welsh try with fly-half Stephen Jones contributing eight points from the boot as Steve Hansen's men continued their renaissance at the Millennium Stadium.
Scotland, whose points came from a Chris Paterson drop goal in the third minute and a converted late Simon Taylor pushover try, lacked penetration when they had the ball and their tackling in particular will have disappointed new coach Matt Williams.
