Up to 25,000 people are expected. Traffic and parking restrictions will be in force around the ground before, during and after the game.

Lansdowne Road, Shelbourne Road, Newbridge Avenue and Herbert Road will be closed from 1.30 p.m. until after the match.

Parking restrictions will begin from 8 a.m. in the roads around the ground. Meanwhile, the late- night transport for Christmas continues in Dublin and Cork. The DART will operate extra services on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights on the hour from midnight to 3 a.m.

Dublin

The RDS craft fair in Ballsbridge, which continues tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. is likely to bring delays in the area.

Skerries Road will be closed between Fancourt Road and Seacourt Lane from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Monday, December 24th.

Sean Heuston bridge is closed until April 29th, 2002, due to construction of the Luas. Traffic is diverted via Wolfe Tone Quay, Sarsfield Quay, Rory O'Moore Bridge and Victoria Quay.

As a result of Operation Freeflow, the Garda presence will be increased on the streets of Dublin, with 100 more garda∅ coming from Templemore to assist the operation.

This year the Dublin Transport Office (DTO) has placed a ban on any new roadworks starting up between November 23rd and January 15th.

Ongoing works include roadworks and restrictions for northbound and southbound traffic to single lanes on the N11 at the Wyattville junction between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Delays of 15 to 20 minutes can be expected.

Co Cork

A race meeting will take place at Cork racecourse on Sunday from 12.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Parking is available there.

The Christmas "park 'n' ride" service will continue daily between Victoria Cross and Grand parade every 10 minutes from 8.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 10.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. on Sundays.

Co Meath

A race meeting will be held at Navan racecourse tomorrow between 12.35 p.m. and 3.35 p.m. Parking is available at the course.

Co Limerick

Blood Mill Lane, Limerick, will be closed until midnight on Sunday for watermain works.
