Up to 3,500 people are expected to take part in the Feile Peile na nOg Parade from Parnell Square to Clonliffe College this evening, beginning at 7.45. Traffic disruptions in the North Inner City from 6.00 p.m. Areas affected are Parnell Street, Parnell Square North and East, O'Connell Street East, Marlborough Street, North George's Street, Gardiner Place, Gardiner Row, Fitzgibbon Street, Cathedral Street, Mountjoy Square North, Russell Street and Jones Road to Clonliffe College.

Saturday mid-afternoon disruption in the city centre because of a protest rally due to commence outside the GPO at 3 p.m. Skerries motorcycle road race takes place on the local 2.92-mile circuit this Saturday. It's the longest running motorcycle racing event in the Republic.

Roadworks continue on the N4 for a 5 km stretch between Mullingar and Kinnegad - from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and until 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Lane restrictions are in place on the N24 between Beary's Cross and Grange Cross due to ongoing roadworks.

Renovation works at Washington Street are expected to cause delays. The roadworks are ongoing there as well as at Beaumont Drive, Arcullen, Fairfield Avenue, Springfield Estate, Greenhills Estate and Churchfield Avenue.

Resurfacing work on the N4 Rockingham to Cortober Road where traffic is reduced to one lane and temporary lights are in place.

Expect continuing delays on mainline rail journeys because of the industrial action by train drivers. The information line 1850 366 222 is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.

Aer Rianta is painting block C of the car-park at Dublin Airport. The work is creating long delays for commuters parking. Information on parking may be obtained by dialing 1800 204 010.
