Dublin

Dublin

Work on a number of Quality Bus Corridors is continuing. These include the Tallaght QBC at the Templeogue Road and the Swords QBC at Beaumont Road, Lower Drumcondra Road, Collins Avenue and Swords Road.

Work on the Rathfarnham QBC will affect Clanbrassil Street Upper, Harold's Cross, Terenure Road North and Rathfarnham.

The North Clondalkin and South Clondalkin QBC works will affect off-peak traffic on their respective routes. Cycle-track works are under way on Clonskeagh Road between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Roadworks continue on the M50 at the Lucan exit, with bollards preventing motorists from exiting at the last minute.

Traffic is reduced to one lane on Fleet Street between Bedford Row and Westmoreland Street.

Meath

Roadworks and speed ramps are still in place on the N4 between Enfield and Kilcock. Works finishes at 2 p.m. today to cater for the weekend rush.

Westmeath

Roadworks and speed ramps are in place on the N4 for a 5 km stretch between Mullingar and Kinnegad.

Carlow

Roadworks are causing major delays at the junction of the N80 Portlaoise road and N9 Dublin road, at the Braun factory.

Limerick

Roadworks on Shelbourne Road are due to finish this evening. Howley's Quay, Harvey's Quay and Honan's Quay are closed to northbound traffic.

A diversion is in place on the N20 at Patrickswell for the construction of a roundabout.

The National Hurling League Final between Galway and Tipperary in Limerick on Sunday may cause congestion on these routes.

Laois

Pipe-laying is causing delays on the Borris road in Portlaoise. Delays of up to one hour are possible in Abbeyleix due to final resurfacing.

Clare

Temporary lights are in place between Ennis and Barefield for pipe-laying. Pipe-laying continues on the Clon Road in Ennis.

Galway

Cable-laying is taking place on the N6 between Loughrea and Oranmore and on the N6 between Ballinasloe and Loughrea. Roadworks are in place on the N18 between Oranmore and Gort, on the N17 between Claregalway and Galway.

Cork

Roadworks have disrupted access from Little Island at Little Island Cross - drivers are advised to use the tunnel roundabout instead. Roadworks and temporary lights are in place on the N20 between Cork and Limerick in Ballyhea village.

Aer Rianta

Over 230 charter flights have been added to the normal schedule at Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers should allow plenty of time to reach the airport.

Iarnrod Eireann

The DART service between Dun Laoghaire and Bray will be suspended all day Saturday but bus transfers are available.

Bus Eireann

Special buses have been laid on for Fairyhouse Races. The first leaves Busaras 1 1/2 hours before the first race.
