The Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs has warned about using unsafe spectacles which may be available on the Irish market to view Wednesday's solar eclipse. The glasses are manufactured by Societe MINIPAK of Bogota, Colombia, and contain the wording "protect vision" or "total eclipse".
