The Irish Pharmaceutical Union has warned of the risk of purchasing medicines advertised on the Internet. Such sales were unregulated and there was no control on the authenticity or quality of information, Dr Majella Lane, of the School of Pharmacy, told the IPU annual meeting in Sligo.
