Karachi - Gunmen brought further bloodshed to Pakistan's biggest city yesterday in a new wave of violence which has left 12 dead and eight others wounded in separate attacks, police and other sources said.

The influential Karachi party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), which represents the Urdu-speaking settler community, has blamed the splinter Haqiqi faction for seven deaths.
