The Prague Society for International Cooperation (whose president is F.W. de Klerk) will host a conference next week in the Czech capital where current and former foreign ministers will reflect on the events of 1991, when the collapsed Communist regimes began their velvet revolutions, their experimentation with democracy. The sponsors include that pillar of capitalism, Coca-Cola, and among the speakers is someone identified in the conference brochure as The Hon. Gerard Collins MEP.
