An American corporate financing company will add an additional 50 jobs to its Dublin workforce under the terms of rationalisation plan confirmed today.

CIT employs more than 6,000 people world wide and 250 of those are based in Dublin. However the company has decided to centralise its European offices in Dublin - a move which will see additional staff hired, possibly by as early as April 2004.

The company is officially opening its new offices in Blackrock tonight.
