The United States today won their qualifying series against Spain to claim the 20th and final spot at this year's Rugby World Cup.
The Eagles, coming off a 62-13 victory in Madrid a fortnight ago, scored eight tries to one to beat the Spaniards 58-13 at the Lockhart Stadium, Fort Lauderdale.
David Fee, Philip Eloff and Conrad Hodgson crossed twice for the USA, while Riaan van Zyl and captain Dan Lyle each scored one try. Mike Hercus kicked six conversions and two penalties.
The USA now take their place in Pool B alongside France, Scotland, Fiji and Japan.
