BOSTON - The US ambassador to the Vatican, Mr Raymond Flynn, has been cleared of violating federal campaign laws, but his former chief aide, Mr Joseph Fisher, was charged with taking about $51,000 in illegal payments, the US Attorney's Office said on Thursday.
