Two men are expected to appear before the Special Criminal Court later this morning following an investigation into dissident republicans in Limerick.
The men were arrested on Wednesday night in a raid on a house in Sarsfield Court in Garryowen.
A Kalashnikov rifle, grenades and ammunition were found during the raid.
A quantity of semtex was subsequently discovered in a follow-up search.
