The PSNI has searched a number of premises in the area and removed a caravan from the park where the party took place. Her family said she had spent a lot of time at the caravan park.

Air, land and underwater searches have been conducted. Ms Dorrian, a shop worker, left her handbag and personal belongings behind at the time of her disappearance and has not made contact with friends or family since.

The police want anyone with information to contact detectives at Newtownards station.

North Down Ulster Unionist MP Lady Sylvia Hermon said: "I feel desperately sorry for the family. They were waiting in hope and praying that she would be returned to them, and now they are facing the awful news that she won't be coming back."
