Two men were hospitalised last night after the vehicle in which they were travelling, a stolen BMW, crashed on the Long Mile Road in Crumlin, Dublin, during a chase involving up to eight Garda patrol cars.
The vehicle crashed into the forecourt of E.P. Mooney's garage at about 9.30 p.m., damaging several new cars parked outside.
The occupants of the stolen BMW were taken to St. James's and Tallaght hospitals, where their conditions were described last night as stable.
Gardai in Crumlin are investigating.
