Two Irishmen have appeared at the Old Bailey in London charged in connection with suspected "Real IRA" bomb attacks in Britain.

The charges relate to bombings in London and Birmingham last year.

Mr James Patrick McCormack (33) was charged with causing three explosions. Mr Aiden Patrick Hulme (25) was accused of conspiring to cause an explosion.

The men were remanded in custody to reappear in court on May 20th.

Two other men are in custody charged in connection with the bombs.
