A man and a woman died, when the car they were travelling in crashed "on the Ratoath to Ashbourne road, near the Dublin-Meath border, at around 11.30 p.m. last night. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
Gun belonged to gang, gardai say Gardai in Dublin believe a loaded revolver found on a railway line on the outskirts of the city on Thursday belonged to a Ronanstown-based ram-raiding gang. A Garda spokesman said the gun was discovered at a hedgerow on the Dublin-Cork railway, south of Lucan.
