A 24-year-old man has been injured in a paramilitary-style attack in Co Armagh. The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. in Lurgan.

The victim is understood to have been attacked by a group of men in the Mourneview area of the town before being shot in the groin.

He is said to be in stable condition in hospital today. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in both ankles during a paramilitary-style attack in Broadway Parade, south Belfast, on last night. He was attacked by up to four men in the Donegall Road area.
