Two in hospital after Luas crash

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a Luas tram in Dublin city centre today.

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a Luas tram in Dublin city centre today.

The collision happened shortly after 11.20am on Queen Street.

The two occupants of the car were taken to the Mater Hospital where they are being treated for “non-life threatening injuries”. Nobody on the Luas was injured.

The collision caused slight delays to the Luas Red Line. All trams are now operating as normal.
