Two men have been charged after a bomb attack on a nationalist politician's house in Northern Ireland, the RUC said today.

Two men have been charged after a bomb attack on a nationalist politician's house in Northern Ireland, the RUC said today.

No one was injured in the attack at the home of Larne SDLP councillor Mr Martin Wilson on the Old Glenarm Road in Larne, Co Antrim, at around 2 a.m. on June 18th.

The men, who have not been named, were charged with having explosives, carrying explosives with intent and carrying out an unlawful act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life, an RUC spokesman said.

The men are due to appear at a special sitting of Larne Magistrates Court at 12.30 p.m.
