Two men were arrested after a shooting incident at a house in Dublin's inner city last night.

Two men were arrested after a shooting incident at a house in Dublin's inner city last night.

A shot  was fired at a house on Keeper Road, Crumlin at about 11.30pm but there were no injuries, a Garda spokeswoman said.

"A single shot was fired through the front window of the house and at the time there was one person in the house. She received no injuries," the spokeswoman said.  "Garda arrived at the scene and as a result of follow-up enquiries stopped and searched a car and arrested two males on St Peter's Road."

Both men, one in his early 30s and the other in his mid 20s, were arrested under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act and are being detained at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations.

A fully loaded pistol was also found at the car park on St Peter's Road.
