Two further arrests were made yesterday over a break-in at the Dublin home of Minister for Justice Alan Shatter on Sunday night. A couple, a man aged 41 and a woman aged 40, were detained in Crumlin by gardaí yesterday morning and held for questioning at Blackrock Garda station.

Four arrests have been made in the course of the investigation into the break-in to date. A 43-year-old man, the second person detained in relation to the incident, was released without charge on Tuesday night. A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Darragh Heavey (25) of Moeran Road, Walkinstown, Dublin, appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court on Tuesday and was charged with trespassing at the house with intent to commit theft of two watches of unknown value. He was remanded in custody to appear again on March 27th.
