A man and a woman have been arrested in Sligo town following the discovery of over £10,000-worth of cannabis and ecstasy in the early hours of the morning.
The arrests were made at around 12:40 a.m. after cannabis with a street value of £10,000 and £1,000-worth of ecstasy were discovered in the Ballinode area of the town.
The two have been detained under section two of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be held without charge for seven days.
