Two men have been arrested after a stabbing incident in Portlaoise early this morning.
A garda spokeswoman said an 18-year-old man was in stable condition after he received stab wounds to the stomach in an incident on Main Street at 2.25 a.m.
Two men aged 19 and 21 are being held at Portlaoise Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
