AN application by MMDS Television Ltd and Suir Nore Relays Ltd for a number of injunctions against Killenaule Television Broadcasting Co Ltd was adjourned for two weeks by Mr Justice Kelly in the High Court yesterday.
The plaintiffs are seeking an order restraining the defendants acting contrary to the Wireless Telegraphy Act and the Broadcasting and Wireless
Telegraphy Act by making available a premises for a receiver and transmitter or by transmitting UHF signals from or around Knockmaroe, Upperchurch, Co Tipperary, or from any location.
An injunction is also being sought to restrain the transmitting or retransmitting of any TV signal to persons resident in areas for which MMDS Television Ltd has a licence.
