Ankara - Turkey warned its neighbours yesterday it would consider it an "open act of hostility" if one of them granted refuge to the Kurdish rebel leader, Mr Abdullah Ocalan.

Mr Ocalan is wanted in Turkey on charges linked to the 14-year armed campaign for an independent Kurdish homeland in south-eastern Anatolia.
