A man with an English address appeared at a special sitting of Ennis District court on Saturday charged with parking his vehicle in a manner that would cause danger to others.
Mr Michael Wilcox (34), of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, was the driver of a truck which was involved in an accident in which Mr John Joseph Donnellan (18), of Slieve Elva, Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare, was killed late on Friday night. The car in which Mr Donnellan was travelling collided with the truck on Kilrush Road, Ennis.
Mr Wilcox was remanded on bail.
