Cochin - At least 54 people were killed and dozens injured when three coaches of a passenger train plunged from a bridge into a river in the southern Indian state of Kerala, railway officials said yesterday. Officials fear the death toll could rise further because of the large number of people believed to be still trapped inside the wreckage.
