Mr Andrew Mackay, the Conservative spokesman on Northern Ireland, has called on the Northern Secretary to put Johnny Adair back in prison following Monday night's events in and around Drumcree.
And Ulster Unionist MP Mr Ken Maginnis told a Commons committee: "The reality is that Mr Adair's actions have more to do with who controls the drugs trade in Northern Ireland than with God and Ulster."
Mr Mackay said: "I was particularly horrified to see the smiling face of convicted terrorist Johnny Adair . . . supporting the LVF gunmen when they fired shots in Portadown."
"Surely this was a breach of the ceasefire," said Mr Mackay, "and sufficient evidence for the Secretary of State to put Adair back in prison where he belongs."
