Three questioned over serious crime in Dublin

Gardaí are questioning three young men as part of an investigation into serious crime in the Dublin region.

Gardaí are questioning three young men as part of an investigation into serious crime in the Dublin region.

The men, all in their twenties, were arrested on the Navan Road at lunchtime yesterday. When arrested they were driving a stolen car and had a sawn-off shotgun, a machete and radio scanners.

They are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act. Under this law they can be held for 72 hours.
