Three business premises in Cork were damaged by a fire overnight. The blaze began on the first floor of a shop on Cornmarket Street shortly after 7pmlast night before spreading to buildings on either side.
Several units of the fire brigade eventually brought the fire under control. A Garda spokesman said gardai did not believe the fire was started deliberately.
