Eastern Mediterranean (Greece and islands; West and south coast of Turkey; Cyprus): Unsettled with thundery showers or longer spells of rain. Mild start but turning cooler. Western Mediterranean (Italy and Med. coasts of France and Spain): Heavy rain or thundery showers over the weekend and early part of next week. Drier, cooler and brighter later. Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and Portugal: Very unsettled with spells of rain interspersed with drier brighter periods, the rain sometimes heavy and thundery. Canaries: Quite warm with bright or sunny spells. Some showery rain possible also.
