WASHINGTON - A New Jersey teenager who gave birth in a women's lavatory during her high school prom and dumped the baby in a trash can has been indicted for murder, prosecutors said yesterday.
Ms Melissa Drexler (19) is accused of strangling the infant.
According to police, Ms Drexler dumped the baby in a plastic bag, then resumed dancing with her date.
