TCD industrial dispute resolved

Industrial action by over 400 manual workers at Trinity College Dublin, which threatened to disrupt arrangements for the Trinity Ball, has ended. An overtime ban and work-to-rule which began on Thursday was called off yesterday after the college agreed to pay arrears due under national agreements since last December.
