Talks aimed at settling the Brinks Allied dispute will resume tomorrow at the Labour Relations Commission.

ATMs throughout the east coast region have been affected by the dispute over health and safety procedures for the last two weeks.

SIPTU Security Services Branch Secretary Mr Kevin McMahon said today: "In order to help progress talks at this crucial stage in the dispute SIPTU is refraining from comment".

The dispute has led to the closure of a considerable number of non-branch ATM machines and appears to be no closer to resolution, with both sides saying considerable disagreements remain.

The workers in the company voted last Wednesday to serve formal strike notice on the company by 60 votes to nine.
