Northern Ireland’s Joe Swail produced another incredible fightback to eliminate top seed and title-holder Mark Williams from the Embassy World Championship in Sheffield today.

Swail recovered from 8-3 down to snatch a classic second-round match in the deciding frame. He also recorded the highest break of the tournament so far, a 140.

Manchester-based Swail, 31, was emulating his amazing comeback at the same stage last year when he was 12-8 down to John Parrott but won 13-12, and he was also taken to a decider in his opening match this time by Sean Storey.
