Four suspected members of the Real IRA, arrested yesterday at a Co Meath hotel, remain in Garda custody today.
The four - two from Co Louth and two from Co Dublin - were arrested as part of a Garda investigation into dissident republican activities yesterday afternoon at a hotel in Bettystown, Co Meath.
It is believed a Real IRA meeting was taking place at the time.
The four are being held in Garda stations across Dublin under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State act for questioning.
Under anti-terrorist legislation introduced following the Omagh bombing, the men can be held for 72 hours before they must be released or charged.
Two of the men arrested have already been charged with offences before the Special Criminal Court and are out on bail.
