Guatemala City - Police yesterday detained the prime suspect in the murder of Bishop Juan Gerardi, who was beaten to death last week, a spokesman for the presidency said.Bishop Gerardi was killed on Sunday at the San Sebastian church, just two days after releasing a scathing report on human rights abuses during Guatemala's 36-year civil war.
