Jakarta - Indonesian police yesterday accused former president Suharto's youngest son of involvement in a spate of fatal bombings and the murder of a judge, after they found guns and home-made bombs during a raid.

They said the raid on the home of a friend of Mr Tommy Suharto had uncovered evidence of his involvement in the bombings in Jakarta over the past year and the assassination two weeks ago of the chief judge who sentenced him to 18months' jail for graft.

But police said they had found no trace of Tommy, who has been on the run since last year.
