Bonn - German media reported yesterday that Bonn's ambassador to Sudan has said that a factory hit by US strikes was, contrary to US claims, not manufacturing chemical weapons. They said Mr Werner Daum had compiled the report on the evening of the August 20th attack.
The factory was bombed along with targets in Afghanistan in retaliation for the attacks on the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania which killed 263 people, including 12 American citizens, three weeks ago.
