SuperValu and Centra stores are to provide in-store cash bureaux for euro exchange on January 1st next year when the euro goes into circulation.
The Director of Consumer Affairs, Ms Carmel Foley, said goodwill on the part of retailers would be important in the supervision of the code of practice promoted by IBEC, EAN Ireland and her office, which aims to ensure that currency price conversion is carried out fairly.
