An almost completed £1 million sports complex in Ballina, Co Mayo, remains boarded up and unfinished because money to complete the project has dried up.
Some £400,000 is urgently required to finalise the outstanding work on the long-fought-for sports complex. The Minister for Sport, Dr McDaid, said his Department was looking at the application for £400,000.
