The PSNI are questioning six people about a serious assault on man (29) in a Co Antrim harbour town.
Four men and two women were arrested for questioning about the attack early on Saturday morning in Castlemara Drive, Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
The victim sustained head injuries and is seriously ill in hospital.
Police tonight also renewed their appeal for witnesses who were in the area between midnight and 9am on Saturday to come forward.
