Gardai investigating the death of the Dublin woman, Mrs Miriam O'Donoghue (42), were yesterday continuing their efforts to piece together her movements in the 48 hours prior to the discovery of her body.
There have been no new sightings of Mrs O'Donoghue reported between 9 p.m. on Friday last, when a take away service delivered food to her door, and around 8.30 p.m., when her husband found her body in her home at Ashfield Gardens, Mulhuddart.
Supt Denis Donegan of Cabra Garda station, who is leading the investigation, said the gardai were still appealing, for people to come forward.
He would not confirm a report that a woman friend had spoken with Mrs O'Donoghue on Friday eve fling and made an arrangement to meet the following day. Mrs O'Donoghue failed to turn up, according to the report.
A preliminary post mortem investigation found Mrs O'Donoghue suffered a throat injury which resulted in asphyxiation.
