Shot fired into crowded bar in north Dublin

Gardaí are today investigating an incident in which a shot was fired into a crowded public house in Finglas, north Dublin.

Gardaí are today investigating an incident in which a shot was fired into a crowded public house in Finglas, north Dublin.

A man is understood to have fired the shot from a sawn-off shotgun into the Full Shilling bar shortly after midnight last night.

The man was earlier refused service at the bar. No one was injured in the incident.

Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
