Seoul - Public servants, security guards, cooks and students were among 169 South Korean sex offenders whose names were posted on the Internet yesterday as part of a campaign to curb rising sex crimes against minors.

The highly unusual measure in South Korea's conservative society caused so many people to visit the government website that an internet traffic jam was reported.
