Sebnitz - The Saxony Premier, Mr Kurt Biedenkopf, and 200 people took part in a memorial service in the eastern town of Sebnitz yesterday for a six-year-old German-Iraqi boy drowned in a suspected racist killing.

Police have detained three men accused of drugging and drowning the boy, Joseph Abdullah, in a public swimming pool in 1997.
