A drug-dealer who planted a bar of cannabis in the hood of a woman's jacket while she stood in a chip shop queue had his sentence adjourned at by Judge Dominic Lynch at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Wayne Richards (20), Cherrywood Park, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis resin for sale and supply on August 21st, 1997. The bar of cannabis had an estimated street value of £2,430.
