A major security operation is in place in Rathfeigh village as Westlife singer Bryan McFadden prepares to marry girlfriend Kerry Katona.

The single road leading to the Church of the Immaculate Conception where the pair will tie the knot is sealed off and surrounded by garda cars.

A handful of young female fans also made the journey to the isolated village in Co Meath, where the 21 year olds are due to be wed.

But guests and scores of professional photographers have been told that they will not be able to take any snaps, to protect an exclusive six figure deal with celebrity magazine Hello!

The congregation at the Catholic ceremony were warned not to bring cameras and many were searched as they made their way inside.

Guests included fellow Westlife members, Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan.

A reception will be held later at the rock venue Slane Castle, several miles from the church.
